         The Devadaru represents the family tree of the Parevites.  It all starts at the center and the generations are shown in layers out from there.  The true meaning of the symbol and its design will be gradually revealed over the course of the saga.  The Devadaru is pictured above in the header of this website and on the cover of the first book in the series, Discern.

         The Devadaru continues on the cover of Discord.  It is going through a transformation as is the "Alexander" family tree.  The Parevite parents' and their decisions in this book have this symbol going through a transformation for the first time in several millenia...are the changes ultimately for the good of the family and humankind?
